FAQ

  • How do I care for my cloth?
To Wash: Use cold water only with mild liquid detergent. No scrubbing should be needed if using our recommended Crayola's Ultra Clean Washable Crayons. Occasional scrubbing is only ever needed if crayons were pressed hard onto the cloth when coloring. If that happens, you can choose to scrub gently before washing, or wash a second time with gentle scrubbing. To Dry: Lay flat to air dry, or hang dry. Do not place in a dryer to dry. Each cloth was preshrunk before production, however, various shrinkage will still occur if dried in a dryer. Wrinkles: You may lightly steam the cloth, yes, but many wrinkles do come out once coloring has begun. Coloring Products To Use: We recommend using only Crayola's Ultra Clean Washable Crayons (not included). These colors come in packs of 8, 16, 24 and even 64, and can be purchased at major retailers or online.
  • What crayons / products should I use?
Coloring Products To Use: We recommend using only Crayola's Ultra Clean Washable Crayons (not included). These colors come in packs of 8, 16, 24 and even 64, and can be purchased at major retailers or online. Using any other brands or products may result in them not washing out of your cloth.
  • How do I set it up in the doorway?
For Doorway Usage: Once the cloth has been colored on, peel off the backing of the two sticky hook+loop square tabs and place on an interior doorway frame at your desired height. Press firmly to secure. You can also watch our video below. Leave hook+loop tabs in place when finished playing so that the cloth can be re attached again later. Once removed, the hook+loop tabs will loose their grip and may not re-stick to your surface. We recommend testing hard surfaces before fully attaching the hook+loop tabs to walls or doorway frames. Due to varying finishes, paints and materials in everyone's homes, we cannot be responsible for any damage that may occur once installed. Note that varying climates may impact the longevity in which the sticky tabs will hold. Once installed, do not hang on the cloth. Do not install the cloth near stairs or within unsafe environments.
  • How do I set it up with my foam couch?
For Foam Play Couch Usage: Create a fort using your existing foam play couch squares (not included.) Then, once your coloring cloth has been colored on, place over the front opening of your fort, using the triangle pieces as weights on top to hold it on top and in place. Kid friendly set up! Please note that there are many foam play couches on the market today and each varies in size, thickness and sturdiness. Each set up may look different depending on the play foam couch you use. We do not recommend using the sticky hook+loop tabs to hold your coloring cloth in place on the foam couch, though some have tried it. Please note that if you do wish to go that route, the tabs may not hold/stick as long and may or may not leave a residue on the fabric. We will not be responsible for replacement squares or damages to your play couch. Once installed, do not hang on the cloth. Do not install the cloth near stairs or within unsafe environments.
